《詩篇》中有一篇所謂的「太空詩篇」，當人類有史以來第一位登陸月球的太空人阿姆斯壯踏上月球的土地時，他並沒有為此人類的創舉而自豪，相反地，他看到宇宙的無邊無際，以及人在浩瀚星海當中顯得如此地渺小與微不足道，他由不得從心裡發出了讚嘆，而朗誦了這一篇詩篇，詩人的心聲就是他的心聲！最後，他把這一篇詩篇留在了月球上，這也是人類送上月球的第一本書~
神的榮耀和人的尊貴

詩篇
8:1 耶和華我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！
你將你的榮耀彰顯於天。
8:2 你因敵人的緣故，從嬰孩和吃奶的口中，
建立了能力，使仇敵和報仇的閉口無言。
8:3 我觀看你指頭所造的天，並你所陳設的月亮星宿，
8:4 便說：人算甚麼，你竟顧念他！世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他！
8:5 你叫他比天使 (或譯：神) 微小一點，
並賜他榮耀尊貴為冠冕。
8:6 你派他管理你手所造的，使萬物，
8:7 就是一切的牛羊、田野的獸、
8:8 空中的鳥、海裏的魚，凡經行海道的，都服在他的腳下。
8:9 耶和華我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！

8:1 上主─我們的主啊，你的偉大彰顯全地！頌讚你的聲音上達諸天；
8:2 嬰兒和幼童一齊歌唱。你建造鞏固的堡壘防備敵人；你阻止仇敵對你的攻擊。
8:3 我仰視你親手創造的天空，觀看你陳設的月亮星辰。
8:4 啊，人算甚麼，你竟顧念他！必朽的人算甚麼，你竟關懷他！
8:5 然而，你造他僅低於你自己；你用光榮尊貴作他的華冠。
8:6 你讓他管理所有被造物，把一切都放在他腳下：
8:7 牛、羊、荒野的走獸，
8:8 空中的飛鳥，江河的魚類，海洋的生物，都歸他管轄。

8:1 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
8:2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
8:4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
8:5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
