答：
耶和華說、人豈能在隱密處藏身、使我看不見他呢？耶和華說、我豈不充滿天地麼。──耶利米書 23:24
神是個靈，所以拜祂的、必須用心靈和誠實拜祂。──約翰福音4:24
神是個靈（KJV 譯為 Spirit），祂無所不在、無所不知、無所不能。祂是為了讓人們看得到、摸得到祂，才用肉身顯現（耶穌）。祂若不「道成肉身」，人永遠無法用理性及有限的知識去理解祂。
既然耶穌是神，祂想出現隨時可以出現（例：約21:1 提比哩亞海邊）、想消失隨時可以消失（例：路24:31 以馬忤斯的路上）。如果有人認為我們的神沒有能力「同時」在多個地方出現，就是把祂矮化成一般民俗的神明了。
我認為大衛鮑森牧師的意思是，耶穌（道成肉身的耶和華神）會用符合肉身條件（只能在一處顯現）、及肉眼所能理解（眼見為憑）的方式，來向 ”有限的人類” 證明祂為我們完成的十字架救贖計畫。也就是說，耶穌為了讓 “有限的人類” 在當時的場景能做有說服力的目擊見證人，擁有所謂的「在場證明」，只在一個地方出現是很合理的；若祂「同時」在多個地方顯現，那祂就不需以血肉之軀（耶穌）的方式顯現，而是以靈（耶和華神）的方式顯現（如：向亞伯拉罕、摩西、所羅門…等人的顯現）。我們也可以問：神可否「同時」讓世界三大洋五大洲的人見到祂的榮面？如果祂要讓這事發生的話，答案是肯定的。
另，耶穌復活後向門徒顯現時，當時多馬並不在場；等多馬回來聽到他們說「我們已經看見主了」，卻說：「我非看見他手上的釘痕，用指頭探入那釘痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我總不信。」他說那些話時，耶穌不在現場。八日後，為何耶穌卻能完整轉述了多馬的話？因為祂是神，祂可以消失讓他們看不到祂，卻一直與他們同在。
