喜愛歐洲舞曲的朋友對於F.R.David 一定不會陌生，他的本名是Elli Robert Fitoussi。
他是一位誕生在非洲突尼西亞(原法屬地)的法國歌手。
他在80年代唱過許多讓大家耳熟能詳的歌曲(幾乎都是以單字為主的歌曲)，例如Girl、Words、Music、Stay等等。雖然F.R.David的歌曲輕柔好聽，在1982年與1983在UK與Europe Charts曾短暫的綻放異彩，但是他在美國排行榜中始終無法浮上檯面、他的所有的成名作品就等於是他僅有的財產、講的實際一點、他就是所謂的一片歌手、但是F.R.David 這種深情款款的唱腔，與陰霾的音樂風格，在亞洲卻是相當受到歡迎
